The
major songs presented by Shashnk were few ,Bhagayaniyaha in
chandrajothi and Jayajayaswami in Nattai. He took up kaharaharapriya
for elaboration and RTP, which was pleasing and all encompassing.
He played many thukkadas. Bu Ganesh Prasad accompanied him
on the violin. For mridangam there were two artists,Pampalli
S.Phalgun and Poovalur Srinivasan. The tonal quality of the
latter's mridangam was captivating. The tani avartanam was
superb and included kanjira by Phalgun and Konnakol by Srinivasan.
The talavadya presentation stole the show. |
